Susan DeAgro started in the retail jewelry business in 1973 with a company headquartered in Boca Raton, Florida called Ole’/Uno. She spent 13 years with Ole’ starting as an assistant manager and rising to the position of district manager being responsible for 12 stores in the Md./ Dc. Area. As the company was going out of business she joined the Earring Tree out of Walpole. Massachusetts. In 1989, as a district manager, Mrs. DeAgro was responsible for 10 stores in four states. S & N Katz offered her a position as store manager in 1993 at the White Marsh location and after they closed, their Friedman Jewelers location in Owings Mills was managed by Susan. In 1996 she joined Cellular One as a sales representative and subsequently became a regional manager. She then went into business with a partner in a Cingular One retail outlet. In 2003 Mrs. DeAgro made her return to the jewelry business to join Littman Jewelers as an assistant manager at the Towson Town Mall location. After one year she was promoted to store manager at that store. It was during her years at Littman’s that she completed the DCA Diamond Course. Realizing that her passion was selling, she left Littman’s to join the Albert Smyth Company in 2006 as a sales consultant. I was very successful but yearned for a more intimate relationship and joined Nelson Coleman as a senior sales associate.
