Therefore, we guarantee everything we make, repair and sell for a period of one year from the date of sale or completion of the repair unless otherwise expressed in writing.
This means we guarantee such things as stones becoming loose or falling out and that the parts we make, replace or repair will not break in the areas where we did the work. In the case of a watch, we guarantee that it will function properly.
If at anytime you are not satisfied with a product or service, please notify us immediately. Rest assured that we will take care of the situation for you promptly and cheerfully.
We cannot guarantee that a diamond or gemstone will not chip, break, scratch or fracture. Therefore, we strongly suggest insuring your jewelry. If you do not have an existing policy, we will be happy to provide you with a referral.
We cannot be responsible for the further fracture or damage to stones or diamonds received from the customer that are already damaged, chipped, broken or have large inclusions or imperfections. We will attempt to inform the customer of any potential problems we see before proceeding with any repair; however it is the customer’s ultimate responsibility to be aware of any potential problems.
One complimentary ring sizing is included with any ring purchased at Nelson Coleman Jewelers except for some sale items, as-is items, and/or specialty types of wedding bands and rings that need to be ordered, manufactured or altered to the correct size.
We will assist you in determining your correct finger size. If we size your actual finger and the size is incorrect, we will resize your ring at no charge within 14 days from the date of delivery.
If you request a different size than what was determined to be the correct size and the ring does not fit, we will charge you to resize the ring to the correct size. Please note that a size cannot be taken from another ring and be considered accurate.
Some fingers may require a ring to have an orthopedic device in order to properly fit. We cannot guarantee proper fit in those cases without an orthopedic shank, which is an additional charge.
We do not assume responsibility for the loss of a single diamond or colored gemstone above one carat. We strongly encourage customers to have their valuable jewelry properly appraised and covered by a jewelry rider with their homeowners insurance or other insurance carrier such as Jeweler’s Mutual.
