How did you meet?
My senior year of high school, I was looking for a date for our Homecoming dance. My friend happened to be dating Jason's roommate at college, so she figured it might be fun to do a double date sorta thing. Jason wasn't made aware of this plan until after we dragged the boys on 2 separate shopping trips for dresses and shoes. But I finally mustered up the courage to ask him if he would go with me, and though he told me later he almost said no, he was a good sport and went along with it. Eight and a half years later... here we are!
Why are you in love?
We don’t have the typical storybook romance to tell. It was not love at first sight, and there were no white horses or fairy godmothers involved. When we met we were both young and inexperienced in love. But we knew we had something good. We have both grown a lot since then and we did it together, challenging each other and our relationship to be better every step of the way. We have truly come to be best friends and we know we can always count on each other. We can’t wait to get married and finally make it “official”!
