Nelson Coleman Jewelers has been long famous for cultivating local talent for jewelry
design and manufacturing. Our services include two highly competent designers that
provide on site consultations regarding.
- Coordinating a jewelry ensemble
- Engagement and wedding ring designs
- All services related to jewelry design, including art renderings, wax
layouts for diamond and gemstone designs, wax model for design approvals,
and one of a kind pieces.
Meet our designers…
Jaclyn Schleigh attended Towson State University where she obtained a Bachelor's
of Science Degree in Jewelry Making. While studying at Towson University, Jaclyn
interned with jewelry designer Jackie Milad, owner of Milad Altier. There, she
helped in the production of jewelry, from the beginning stages of carving wax molds
to cleaning and polishing the finished pieces. After graduation, Jaclyn was hired
by Nelson Coleman Jewelers as the in store designer. Currently she is creating her
own line of jewelry, as well as working with individual customers to design original
pieces at Nelson Coleman Jewelers.

Elissa O'loughlin is a 1975 graduate of Moore College of Art in Philadelphia where she
received a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Jewelry Design and Metalsmithing.
Elissa worked for several years for the J.E. Caldwell Company in Washington D.C.
where she did design work as well as sales. Elissa became involved with Nelson
Coleman in around 2001 and currently is our design consultant.
